Autonomous Finance: AI in SAP Finance

In May 2026, SAP presented the “Autonomous Enterprise”: AI agents are intended to support the financial close, receivables management, planning and cash management. In addition, many companies rely on their own agents, external AI platforms or specialized applications.

I help evaluate the right approach: what already works today, which prerequisites SAP Finance needs to meet, and how control over postings and approvals is maintained. The foundation remains a clean S/4HANA finance system.
